Dive to the Heart

Before the game begins, you will make many important decisions that will later affect your game style. The first one is fairly self explanitory: Normal or Expert. For beginners I would recommend normal, and to choose expert after beating the game once. This way you can differenciate.

Now for the confusing decisions. During the battle tutorial Sora will face the desicion whether to choose a sword, a sheild, or a staff. The choosing of a weapon will affect your stats you will recieve at the beginnig of the game and will also be the weapon that you fight with during the tutorial. Choose a weapon for your style of play: sword if you like offense, sheild if you like defense, etc. Here is a chart of what weapons affect which stats:

Once out of the tutorial, you will appear with your friends Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie and they will ask you deep questions of your desires.

Tidus asks "what are you so afriad of?"

b.Being Different
c.Being Indecisive


Wakka Asks "What do you want outta life?"
d.To see rare sights.
e.To broaden my horizons.
f.To be strong.


Selphie Asks "What's most important to you?"
g.Being number one.
h.Friendship.

Now you can answer these questions honestly, or you can refer to the following chart for the best results. The way you answer these questions will determine the speed that you level up. Be sure to answer Tidus, Wakka, then Selphie. Here are the combinations:
