Storyline

A year after Sora and Mickey sealed kingdom hearts, suddenly hordes of heartless come out of nowhere. When they find out the source, they're coming from is Hollow Bastion, Sora, Donald, and Goofy go to investigate to be greeted by a huge army of heartless, but they're not regular heartless. Their colors and strengths have changed and so has Hollow Bastion itself. Sora and the gang fight their way through the darkness to an unknown standing on the balcony who seems to be the one controlling the new heartless. Sora is almost defeated by the white heartless, when Mickey appears and the gang stares with their mouths open as Mickey takes down the new heartless with a gold keyblade. Meanwhile, a Blonde Haired Kid and his friends are sitting on the top of a tower and they are taking some type of sphere out of a blue thing. The Blonde Haired Kid is chasing after a white heartless which is called "Flairer" and he loses it when it flies into a building. Later on, the blonde haired kid has a dream where he fights a huge flairer and then he meets an unknown whos name is Axel (Akusaru in the Japanese version) and the Blonde Haired Kid refuses to let the unknown get to Sora. It seems the Blonde Haired Kid is protecting Sora. With the help of the Blonde Haired Kid, Mickey, Riku, Donald, Goofy, and possibly Kairi, Sora must find the true source of heartless and stop them before they overtake the remaining worlds with darkness.
