Sora is standing in the middle of two roads, somehow he had been seperated with Donald and Goofy, looking up at the sky when an unknown comes and tells him he will gain something and lose something. Sora argues with the unknown and the unknown disappears. Sora meets up with Donald and Goofy again and they go up to this white door when the unknown, Axel, comes out of nowhere and asks Sora does he remember him. Sora doesn't have the time to answer for the unknown Vixen pops up and Axel leaves. Vixen says something to Sora and disappears laughing. Sora and the gang go through the door to find an errie castle known as "Castle Oblivion." Inside, are Sora's lost memories. Sora and the gang also visit the disney worlds in KH1 to find that the residents, even Leon, have forgotten him. Through castle oblivion, collecting info from the unknowns and from the worlds, Sora must find out what caused the great memory loss and find his lost memories and lose something precious to him in exchange.
